The Integrations section allows you to connect SCADA with external services.
Currently, SCADA supports direct publishing to WordPress, enabling selected comics to be published to your website without leaving the application.
Once configured, publishing becomes a seamless part of your collection workflow.
Enable WordPress Publishing
Enable WordPress Publishing to activate the WordPress integration.
Once enabled, additional publishing options become available throughout the Collection.
Set Cover as Featured Image
Enable Set Cover as Featured Image to automatically upload the comic’s cover as the WordPress featured image.
This eliminates the need to manually assign a featured image after publishing.
Attach SCAPACK
When Attach SCADA Package is enabled, the corresponding SCAPACK file is uploaded together with the WordPress post.
Visitors can then download the SCAPACK file and import the comic directly into their own SCADA installation.
Slug Mode
The Slug Mode determines how the WordPress permalink is generated.
Post Title
Uses the comic title as the URL.

SCA-ID
Uses the comic’s unique SCA-ID as the permalink.

Since every SCA-ID is globally unique, this option is particularly useful for large collections or multilingual websites.
WordPress Connection
To connect SCADA to WordPress, provide the following information.
WordPress URL
The full address of your WordPress website.
Example
Username
The username of a WordPress account with permission to create posts.
Application Password
SCADA uses a standard WordPress Application Password for authentication.
Application Passwords can be created directly from your WordPress user profile and provide secure access without exposing your main account password.
All credentials are stored locally within your SCADA configuration.
Test Connection
Click Test Connection to verify that SCADA can successfully communicate with your WordPress website.
The test checks:
- Website availability
- Authentication credentials
- WordPress REST API accessibility
Publishing is only available after a successful connection test.
Security
The WordPress integration communicates exclusively through the official WordPress REST API.
No credentials or collection data are transmitted to third-party services.
All connection settings remain stored locally on your computer.
